As we enter the slower pace of summer, consider creating a clearing in your life to pause and reflect.

Beginning Monday, July 11th, Meladie will offer a 45 minute introduction to mindfulness practices. Research indicates that mindfulness can reduce anxiety, stress and depression as well as increase physical health and overall well-being. Through brief guided meditations, gentle movement and journal exercises, we will practice bringing greater awareness and a friendly attention to our everyday lives. These sessions are helpful for those with or without meditation experience.

We will meet each Monday at 12:00 through August 29. The cost of each session is $15 and the group is limited to 6 participants. You may attend all sessions or drop-in. Please RSVP by the Thursday before the session so that materials may be prepared.
