  • Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
  • Mind-Body Therapy
  • Expressive Therapies (Journal, art, movement, sandtray therapies)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Counseling for Children and Families

I firmly believe that no therapist will ever be as important to a child as their family. Therefore, when I work with a child, the family is closely engaged in treatment. I meet regularly with parents to offer parenting support and recommend family sessions or family therapy as needed to support the work of the child.

To support children and their families, I use the following approaches as indicated:

  • Play Therapy
  • Parent-Child Relationship Therapy
  • Theraplay (registered Trademark)
  • Parent Consultation and Coaching
  • Emotion Focused Family Therapy
  • Social Thinking Curriculum
  • Unstuck and On Target
